On Friday, May 17, 2024, Scottie Scheffler, World No. 1 golfer, was arrested after trying to drive into the entrance of the Valhalla Golf Club, which is hosting the PGA Championship. Louisville Metro Police Department arrested Scheffler charging him with second-degree assault of a police officer, third-degree criminal mischief, reckless driving, and disregarding traffic signals from an officer directing traffic.
