Client was arrested for aggravated DUI. Upon search of the vehicle, officers found over twenty oxycodone pills, a Schedule II Narcotic. This amount is commonly charged as a Class C Felony, Trafficking in a Controlled Substance, First Degree. Because of early entry investigation by the defense team, and mitigating factors, the case was resolved as a misdemeanor. The defendant was offered three weekends in jail (no probation), and the drug charge was voidable from her record after the weekend service. The client was able to keep her job.
