Our client was charged with Terroristic Threatening for threatening to use a firearm inside a local bank. He had hired other counsel who had set the case for trial due to the prosecution seeking jail time. We were retained to try the case as original counsel suggested that experienced trial counsel may prove useful. After entering our appearance we convinced the client to get anger management counseling. Based upon this work the prosecution (who was originally seeking forty-five days of jail time) agreed to a probated sentence. The client didn’t go to jail, kept his job, and will be eligible to expunge this offense.
