About The Kentucky Association of Criminal Defense Lawyers
The Kentucky Association of Criminal Defense Lawyers was founded in 1986 as an outlet for prominent criminal defense attorneys to address the criminal defense bar’s lack of influence in drafting Kentucky’s Truth-in-Sentencing law. Since then, KACDL has worked tirelessly to provide a voice for the criminally accused and support for their defenders. The association holds an unwavering commitment to fairness and justice Kentucky residents accused of crimes, penal code reform, and service to the criminal defense community.
“KACDL is the preeminent organization for criminal defense lawyers in Kentucky. From training to advocacy at the legislature, I feel confident knowing that I’ve got a team of talented lawyers supporting me and my clients.”
KACDL offers education, resources, and legislative advocacy on key liberty issues to Kentuckians. The association’s membership includes over 300 criminal defense practitioners spanning 61 counties across the Commonwealth.
The Kentucky Association of Criminal Defense Lawyers’ leadership includes a Board of Directors and Executive Officers. There are 12 Directors at Large in addition to the President-Elect, and the First Vice-President. You can learn more at the Kentucky Association of Criminal Defense Lawyers’ website.
Commitment to Community
Baldani Law Group congratulates Abe on their new roles with the Kentucky Association of Criminal Defense Lawyers. Within the firm, both attorneys have displayed exemplary commitment to helping provide justice for those who have been charged with crimes in the Commonwealth of Kentucky. In addition to being on the board for the KACDL, Abe is also a member of the Kentucky Justice Association and a board member for Big Brothers Big Sisters of the Bluegrass.
Their new roles with the association will only amplify their commitment to justice and further extend the reach of their help throughout the Commonwealth. We look forward to seeing what the future holds for the KACDL.
